Black Box Acting Studio is a highly regarded training studio that specializes in an intensive style of performance, with alumni regularly appearing on the stages of Chicago, including Steppenwolf, the Goodman, and Victory Gardens. With their expansion into a new building, they wanted to refresh their website design to match the design of the venue and reinforce their reputation for challenging their students to tap into their emotional wells.
As each class is closely informed by the specific personality and experience of the class teacher, we created an easy-to-manage class scheduler built into their content management system that allows students to browse available classes, learn more about the teacher, and get directions on their mobile phones to the class location. We also built a WooCommerce e-commerce system to allow students to apply, signup, and pay for classes conveniently online.
