Spruce Peak Arts is the cultural destination in the small and fairly remote skiing town of Stowe, VT. As a strategy to fill houses with weekly events, Spruce Peak forges relationships with local businesses, providing employee benefits that are a boon to local community members. Spruce Peak offers discounts on 10-20 performances at a time for 25-40 corporate partners. They needed a streamlined system for managing and promoting their discounts, which change weekly. Entering and maintaining the system for these discounts for each partner was prohibitively time-consuming, and it was difficult for their corporate partners to stay up to date with all the different benefits offered to them.
With a lively update to the Spruce Peak home page, our Groundplan plugin also used a little-known PatronManager feature, creating a custom field for the Spruce Peak staff to track corporate discounts in each event instance. Each corporate partner now has a private landing page, accessed via a customized promo code, that compiles the discount performances exclusive to that partner. Discounts applied also automatically trigger a badge on each event detail page to promote a range of loyalty programs. Instead of manually updating HTML for each performance, Spruce Peak spends less time managing event discounts and more time serving their mission.
